It’s been a while since I’ve posted any handmade goodies, mostly because I haven’t been working on projects. I started these little dresses back in February for my niece’s second birthday (which was in March. Bad auntie). We’re headed to see my brother’s family this weekend, so I want to have them done to take. They will be done. Yes, they will.
This dress is well on its way. Actually, so is one of the others, but I don’t want to spoil all of them! This dress is a modified Geranium Dress from Made By Rae. It still needs the hem, buttons, and hopefully a little embellishment.
And since it’s my nephew’s baptism this weekend, I also need to get his birth announcement wall hanging made. I’m using the same Moda Marbles that my mom used in his crib quilt so it all coordinates. This is an original design, so I’m being very cryptic in this post. I really don’t want to spoil this one.
I’m stitching the embroidery with my favorite AuriFIL 12-weight thread (colors 2745 & 2582). I just might get these done! I may be binding and making dress embellishments on the plane, but they’ll be done. That’s all that counts!
