If I were to write a book about our wedding, it would be titled, Handmade Wedding: A Memoir, not a Guide. There were so many personal aspects of the wedding that were tied to stories or just the silliness that makes Lloyd and me, well, Lloyd and me. Our wedding was just downright fun. Everyone that I talk to says just that, and we had an absolute blast–talking and dancing and laughing and smiling. So much smiling. I seriously have a goofy grin on my face in every single photograph.

Our amazing photographer, Margaret Belanger, and her second shooter for the day, Kristen, captured the day really quite perfectly. They also made sure to get photographs of all of the special little touches that were handmade by us, or those who love us. Because I now have such a great photographic documentary of the day, I want to start sharing those little details with people–those who were at the wedding, and those who weren’t. There’s just no possible way that even everyone *at* the wedding knew the story behind every little detail, and I want to make sure I never forget. I don’t think I will, but our blog is going to help me be sure of that!

I look through all of the photographs, though, and I just don’t even know where to begin! There are the big things…

The little details…

The people…

 Family…

So, dear me! Where should I begin???
